في العام 2005 أنشئ اتـّحاد بلديّات غربي بعلبك، وهو يضمّ أحد عشر بلديّة تمتدّ أراضيه على مساحة 231 كلم مربّع ويتجاوز عدد سكّانه 65,000 نسمة
يعتمد أغلبهم في معيشتهم على الزّراعة والقطاع الوظيفي
The Union of Municipalities of West Baalbeck was established in 2005
It includes 11 municipalities and its territories' areas extend for two hundred
and thirty one square kilometers and its population is more than sixty five
thousand persons depend on their livelihood on agriculture and employment
